Best Wigs for Chemo and Wig Alternatives

The moment you are told you are going to lose your hair is almost as confronting as being told you have cancer. For some people, it's worse. I think my partner took it worse than me. There are no words for how it feels. Soon enough, you'll soon enough Google: What are the best wigs for chemo?
Best wigs for chemo
You'll probably be told synthetic wigs are the best - they are cheap, don't need styling and maintenance. However, these are also itchy and look shiny and fake.
Human hair wigs look much better, however they costs thousands of dollars and are notoriously high maintenance. And they still often are hot, scratchy and look like a wig.
Another option is to boldly embrace your baldness, which can be confronting (hats off to you, literally, if you choose to do this!)
Most commonly, is to wear a hat, beanie, or turban. Yet without hair this can still be confronting and leave you looking hairless and sick. That is, even if you are actually NOT sick. The harshness of chemo makes your hair fall out, not the cancer (this was a pet peeve for me).
There is a little known alternative, a combination of the best of these options: a partial human hair hat wig - a headband with real attached, so that you look like you have hair under all your hats and beanies.
Why choose a Human Hair Hat Wig?
Human hair hat wigs offer a way to make the journey through hair loss just a little bit easier, making you feel a bit more normal by making you look "a bit more like you" while you go through your journey.
Hair for Hats wig pieces look real because they are made of human hair, yet unlike full human hair wigs they are affordable, easy to wear and require almost no maintenance. They feel comfortable to wear all day, everyday - as if you're not wearing a wig at all.
