Collection: Hats with Hair - A Comfortable Wig for Chemo

Hair for Hats is a uniquely comfortable wig for hiding hair loss during chemotherapy or alopecia. It is human hair wig piece that attaches to a headband using velcro to wear under all your hats, beanies and scarves, leaving your scalp cool and itch-free.

What are "Hats with Hair"?

Hats with hair are usually a single hat or beanie, with hair sewn into it. The limitation with this is that you are stuck with one hat.

On the other hand, Hair for Hats gives you endless "Hats with Hair" options, with one hair piece. Just pop on any hat, beanie or scarf, and change your look for the occasion and climate.

What hats should I wear with it?

We have curated a select range of hats, beanies and scarves to wear with your hat wig, including where you can find headwear used in our photos.

No one will know there's no hair under your hat!

FAQS

HOW DO YOU USE HAT WIGS?

Our hair attaches to headband (included) - just put it on and pop a hat or beanie on top. Add a scarf over the top to dress it up.

You can watch a short video demonstration here: How To Wear It - Hair For Hats

HOW OFTEN DO YOU NEED TO WASH HAIR FOR HATS WIGS?

Our human hair wigs rarely need to be washed (once every second month will do it) as they are not absorbing oils from your scalp. Whenever you wish, just pop the headband in the washing machine, and gently hand-wash your fringe with baby shampoo in a bowl, rinse well and dry it on a towel. Here's a video demonstration of how to washing your human hair wig and headband.

WHERE DOES THE HAIR USED IN YOUR WIGS COME FROM?

Our human hair is donated in Australia, sourced with gratitude from Sustainable Salons.

CAN YOU HEAT IT?

Yes! It's 100% human hair so you can use a straightener and curler, and style it like your own hair.

IS THERE A LONGER OR SHORTER VERSION?

Yes it now comes in three lengths: short (8-9cm), medium (18-19cm) and long (25-30cm).

The longer version is twice as thick as the short and medium, made for the back of the head.

You can attach two pieces to the one headband for a "hair halo", covering the full circumference of your head.
