Collection: Human Hair Hat Wigs for Hair Loss

Human hair hat wigs are a lightweight alternative to traditional wigs, designed to wear under hats, beanies and scarves. Made from real human hair, they provide natural-looking hair without the need to wear a full wig.

Human Hair Hats with Hair Attached – Without Buying a New Hat

Rather than buying a hat with hair permanently attached, Hair for Hats lets you attach human hair pieces to an adjustable headband and wear them underneath the hats, beanies and scarves you already own.

This means you can keep wearing the hats you already love, while adding natural-looking human hair around your face, sides or back. Choose from front pieces, back pieces and halo styles depending on how much hair you would like to add.

A Comfortable Alternative to a Traditional Wig

If you're experiencing hair loss from chemotherapy, alopecia or another cause, wearing a full wig isn't the only option. Human hair hat wigs leave the top of your head uncovered, while the hairpiece sits comfortably underneath your chosen headwear.

Because there is no wig cap covering your whole scalp, Hair for Hats can be a lightweight and comfortable alternative to a traditional wig — particularly for people who prefer to wear hats, beanies or scarves.

Real Human Hair for a Natural Look

Our hat wigs are made from real human hair, so they look and move naturally. The hair can be styled and blended with your own hair where appropriate, while the headband provides an adjustable way to attach the hairpiece securely underneath your headwear.

The human hair used by Hair for Hats is generously donated by Australians through Sustainable Salons, giving donated hair a new purpose as a practical solution for people experiencing hair loss.

Choose Your Human Hair Hat Wig

Whether you want a little hair around your face or more coverage around the sides and back, there are several styles to choose from:

Front Pieces — Add face-framing hair around the front and sides of your head.

Hat Fall / Back Pieces — Add natural-looking volume around the sides and back of your head.

FAQS

HOW DO YOU USE HAT WIGS?

Our hair attaches to headband (included) - just put it on and pop a hat or beanie on top. Add a scarf over the top to dress it up.

You can watch a short video demonstration here: How To Wear It - Hair For Hats

HOW OFTEN DO YOU NEED TO WASH HAIR FOR HATS WIGS?

Our human hair wigs rarely need to be washed (once every second month will do it) as they are not absorbing oils from your scalp. Whenever you wish, just pop the headband in the washing machine, and gently hand-wash your fringe with baby shampoo in a bowl, rinse well and dry it on a towel. Here's a video demonstration of how to washing your human hair wig and headband.

WHERE DOES THE HAIR USED IN YOUR WIGS COME FROM?

Our human hair is donated in Australia, sourced with gratitude from Sustainable Salons.

CAN YOU HEAT IT?

Yes! It's 100% human hair so you can use a straightener and curler, and style it like your own hair.

IS THERE A LONGER OR SHORTER VERSION?

Yes it now comes in three lengths: short (8-9cm), medium (18-19cm) and long (25-30cm).

The longer version is twice as thick as the short and medium, made for the back of the head.

You can attach two pieces to the one headband for a "hair halo", covering the full circumference of your head.
